Reading Intervention

The Reading Intervention program targets elementary-school students who read below grade level. In order to improve students reading skills, a qualified and trained Better Basics teacher works with students in a small group format in order to provide the individual attention a student may need to succeed.  Through this accelerated target intervention program, students are able to quickly improve their reading scores.  Students typically meet three times per week for 45 minute sessions.  After 20 weeks of particpating in our Intervention program, approximately 80% of students show a 1.o grade level improvement or more in their reading scores.
