Development/ Public Relations Intern Needed

Better Basics is seeking an intern for the Development/Public Relations department for the spring 2012 semester.  Duties will include:  

• Increasing Better Basics brand recognition through positive promotion including special events, press releases, and media materials. 
• Pursuing potential resources including in-kind support and sponsorships for events and programs
• Participating in special events as directed by Director of Development
• Assisting in planning fundraising events
• Attending fairs and/or conferences with Volunteer Coordinator, Director of Development and PR, and Operations Director as needed
